MLB DFS Plays 9/16

Written by: Luke Barnett

These are my Daily DFS picks for September 16th, 2018

C – Willians Astudillo – The Twins newfound backstop has raked since his call-up, batting a robust .361/.365/.611 along with three home runs.

1B – Matt Olson – The Athletics first baseman has been a up and down hitter all season, and quietly is in the middle of a nice streak. He has batted .364/.417/.682 over the last week.

2B – Jose Peraza – The young second baseman has been in the middle of a torrid hot streak, batting .400/.423/.720 in his past week and has a juicy matchup facing the southpaw, Jose Quintana.

SS – Didi Gregorious – The flaming hot Yankee shortstop is worth every penny today versus Thomas Pannone and the Toronto Blue Jays. Didi has hit 3 homers in his last two games, and should keep that streak going today.

3B – Evan Longoria – The recently resurgent third baseman, has quietly hit a booming .364/.440/.465 over his last week, and is a must play against a struggling Antonio Senzatela.

OF – Yasiel Puig – Currently the hottest player in baseball (.500/.571/.1.389 with 5 homers and 9 RBI in his past week), Puig is poised to keep his streak going tonight against the veteran righty, Adam Wainwright.

OF -Ender Inciarte – The Braves center fielder has hit the ball great in the past week, posting a 1.150 OPS in the last week. This afternoon, he has a great matchup against Tanner Roark, a pitcher he has crushed with a .414/.414/.655 slashline against him for his career (30 AB’s)
