The Top-250 for 2018

This week we wrap up the 2018 rankings with our top 250. Links to all our positional rankings are posted below. We’ve changed things up this year. Instead of one big list, we’ve broken things down by rounds to make life a little easier for those in 12-team league (standard league size). This should give you a better idea of when players may be going off the board, but also give you a grouping that you can rearrange to your liking.

Links for our positinal ranks are posted at the bottom.

Round 21 to End Draft

The end of the draft becomes the time you start throwing darts. Odds are more than half, if not all, the players picked after this point will find their way to the waiver wire. Some of the best, at least according to our rankings are:

  • J.A. Happ
  • David Dahl
  • Jackie Bradley Jr.
  • Jake Odorizzi
  • Kole Calhoun
  • Josh Harrison
  • Jorge Polanco
  • Michael Taylor
  • Lucas Giolito
  • Mike Foltynewicz

Each of these players made it on to four sets of rankings in our top-250 giving them the highest probability of being taken. The following players appeared on three lists putting them next in line but a notch below.

  • Scott Schebler
  • Aaron Altherr
  • Lewis Brinson
  • Albert Pujols
  • Starlin Castro
  • Blake Parker
  • Logan Morrison
  • Luke Gregerson
  • Eduardo Rodriguez
  • Carlos Gomez
  • Hyun-Jin Ryu

We also ended up with an additional 55 players that made it on to one or two lists – basically everyone favorite end game sleeper or steady veteran. Listing them is irrelivant; we all have our own idea on who we will end our draft with. If you do not see their name above, assume your guy fell into this category. You can draft Shin-Soo Choo or Tim Anderson but odds are you can just as easily pick them off waivers after the draft.
