Not much time to dive deep into the plays tonight, but these are my targets. I’ll just go ahead and list them below with a little blurb if necessary. Only six games tonight, so we should be able to narrow down our player pool and optimize one really good lineup. Let’s get to it!
SG/SF: Jeremy Lamb – Charlotte Hornets
Nicolas Batum is sitting this one out, so Lamb will enter the starting lineup and should be able to produce on his depressed salary. $5,000 is the lowest his salary has been on DK all year. In the last game that Batum sat out, Lamb played 35 minutes and scored 35.75 DK points. Lamb injured himself on Friday and sat out over the weekend, but he is playing tonight.
SF/PF: Danilo Gallinari – Los Angeles Clippers
Gallinari has been back two games now and he’s been thrown right into the fire. The Clippers need all the help they can get and Gallinari played 36 minutes in his last game. At just $5,200 on DK, he brings a solid floor and has plenty of upside.
PG: Russell Westbrook – Oklahoma City Thunder
Westbrook is the star I want on this slate. His price has fallen down a little to $11,000 and we know the eye popping numbers he can put up. He’s definitely got a shot to go for 70 tonight, and getting 6X on $11k is more than we can ask for.
PG/SG: James Harden – Houston Rockets
Harden destroyed the Pelicans the last two times he played them, late last season. He put up 80+ DK points in both of their last two matchups. I would prioritize Westbrook ahead of Harden, just because of the savings, but Harden is in an excellent spot. If some value opens up, I could end up trying to fit them both in.
SF/PF: Al-Farouq Aminu – Portland Trailblazers
This is a great spot for Aminu and his price still hasn’t risen to where it needs to be yet now that he’s fully back from injury. He’s played 30+ minutes in each of the last two games and in a game that should go small against the Warriors, I think Aminu will get plenty of run. It doesn’t take much for him to meet value at this cost.
PF/C: Draymond Green – Golden State Warriors
Draymond is another player that will benefit from this game going small. In his last two games without Steph Curry, he;s played 38 minutes in each and scored 46 and 53 DK points. In a game that Zaza Pachulia has already been ruled out, Draymond will soak up a ton of minutes in this one and he’s priced too low to not be considered. I think he’s one of the better plays on the entire slate.
