Today I will be giving you 6 players to stream in DFS that are sure to win you some cash..
1. Daniel Murphy, 1-2B, Colorado Rockies
After a horrendous start to the season, veteran Daniel Murphy has seen his DFS price tumble. However, he seems on the brink of a massive hot streak. This afternoon, Murphy gets the golden matchup in all of fantasy: facing the Orioles at Coors Field. The opposing pitcher, David Hess, has struggled this year, pitching to a 6.75 ERA. Murphy, however (even after a terrible start this year), holds a .304 AVG against righties for his career. Playing in the best park in baseball and facing this worst pitching staff (of all time) should provide plenty of opportunity for Murphy to explode today.
2. Clint Frazier, OF, New York Yankees
Frazier got off to a blistering start this season, but then took a trip to the DL with an ankle injury. He has struggled since his return, but seemed to right the ship on Tuesday when he blasted two homers. The entire Yankees lineup is on fire after a series with the Orioles, and should have no issues putting up big numbers against Jorge Lopez and the Royals. Make sure you have Frazier and his hot bat in your lineups against the Royals today.
3. C.J. Cron, 1B, Minnesota Twins
Cron has exceeded expectations this spring, batting to a robust .841 OPS with 12 home runs. The Twins have one of the best lineups in all of baseball, assuring me that they will score some runs. This season, Cron has hit righties well and has shown good plate discipline against them. Covey, on the other hand, has surrendered a horrific 5.54 ERA against righties. Cron has massive pop and should put up big numbers today.
1. Brett Anderson, SP, Oakland Athletics
Anderson hasn’t pitched particularly well this season, posting a 4.14 ERA, but he has a golden matchup today as he faces the ice cold Seattle Mariners. Anderson should fare well against the Mariners righty centered lineup as he has allowed only a .249 AVG against them. Overall, Anderson is one of the cheapest DFS pitchers out there, and should produce a nice return in a great matchup.
2. Luke Weaver, SP, Arizona Diamondbacks
Weaver’s price may be driven up after a terrific start to the season (3.14 ERA, 62/12 K/BB), but he is well worth the price today against the Giants. The Giants, on the other hand, rank 26th in Runs scored and 24th in opponent ERA. Weaver has simply pitched excellent this season, and if anything, he has been unlucky. He should provide a great performance and is well worth any price.
3. Jake Odorrizi, SP, Minnesota Twins
So far this season, Odorrizi has been unexplainably good pitching to a 2.38 ERA and 6-2 record. Odorrizi gets the luxury of pitching behind arguably the best offense in all the majors, the Twins. While the Twins offense is elite, the White Sox simply is not. They rank 21st in runs scored per game and 20th in SLG percent. Overall, Odorizzi should keep his hot start going against the measly White Sox offense and is a great DFS play this afternoon
