START
The Texans have a reputation for being a strong defense team, but the losses of J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus have watered down the pass rush and exposed their secondary. All that has left them with a mediocre pass defense, as illustrated by them ranking 16th in DVOA against the pass. Jared Goff may not be an elite quarterback yet, but he has proven capable of being a fantasy asset and is a worthy starter this week as a result.

- J. Anderson, vs. NE
- Derrick Henry, vs. CIN
- Alfred Morris, @ATL
- Aaron Jones, @CHI
- Duke Johnson, @DET
- Marlon Mack vs. PIT
START
When Bilal Powell has gotten volume this season he has been worthy of starting. With Matt Forte out, Powell should see a nice boost in volume. Running back is looking quite thin this week, so the Forte injury creates at least one more name to trust this weekend.
SIT
The Lions backfield has been a headache this season so don’t expect that to change this week. More importantly, don’t let the matchup fool you as the Browns defense has actually been quite good against the run. While a matchup against the Browns is usually a flashing neon light for fantasy owners, don’t fall for the trap with Ameer Abdullah and company this week.
WIDE RECEIVER
- Antonio Brown, @IND
- J. Green, @TEN
- Marvin Jones, vs. CLE
- Julio Jones, vs. DAL
- DeAndre Hopkins, @LAR
- Michael Thomas, @BUF
- Golden Tate, vs. CLE
- Dez Bryant, @ATL

- Demaryius Thomas, v.s NE
- Jarvis Landry, @CAR
- Adam Thielen, @WAS
- DeSean Jackson, vs. NYJ
- Robert Woods, vs. HOU
- Marqise Lee, vs. LAC
- Stefon Diggs, @WAS
- Rishard Matthews, vs. CIN
- DeVante Parker, @CAR
- Ted Ginn, @BUF
- Cooper Kupp, vs. HOU
- Keenan Allen, @JAC
- Emmanuel Sanders, vs. NE
- Mohammed Sanu, vs. DAL
- Kelvin Benjamin, vs. NO
- JuJu Smith-Schuster, @IND
- Sammy Watkins, vs. HOU
- Adam Humphries, vs. NYJ
- Marquise Goodwin, vs. NYG
- Jermain Kearse, @TB
- Josh Doctson, vs. MIN
- Corey Davis, vs. CIN
- Davante Adams, @CHI
START
Robby Anderson has a tremendous matchup against the Bucs this week as they are among the worst NFL defenses in passing yards allowed per game as well as passing touchdowns allowed. That sets up nicely for Anderson, who has found the endzone in three consecutive games.
SIT
No Packers receiver has surpassed 60 receiving yards in a game since Aaron Rodgers has been sidelined. Chicago has been relatively stout on the defensive side of the ball – they are currently ranked 10th in pass DVOA, so steer clear of all Packers receivers.
TIGHT END
- Rob Gronkowski, @DEN
- Evan Engram, @SF
- Austin Seferia-Jenkins, @TB
- Cameron Brate, vs. NYJ
- Jack Doyle, vs. PIT
- Delanie Walker, vs. CIN
- Jason Witten, @ATL
- Kyle Rudolph, @WAS
- Charles Clay, vs. NO
- Hunter Henry, @JAC
- Austin Hooper, vs. DAL
- Ed Dickson, vs. MIA
- Vernon Davis/Jordan Reed, vs. MIN
- Garrett Celek, vs. NYG
- Eric Ebron, vs. CLE
- Tyler Kroft, @TEN
- J. Howard, vs. NYJ
- Colby Fleener, @BUF
- David Njoku, @DET
- Julius Thomas, @CAR
START
Trusting a player immediately after they return from injury is always a risky proposition, and Charles Clay’s injury history doesn’t ease any concern. However, the Bills target their tight ends heavily, so Clay should remain a major part of the offense even after missing three weeks due to injury.
Ed Dickson is another name to consider, as the Panthers are lacking options in the passing game and the Dolphins are among the worst in the NFL in defending opposing tight ends.
