START

The Texans have a reputation for being a strong defense team, but the losses of J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus have watered down the pass rush and exposed their secondary. All that has left them with a mediocre pass defense, as illustrated by them ranking 16th in DVOA against the pass. Jared Goff may not be an elite quarterback yet, but he has proven capable of being a fantasy asset and is a worthy starter this week as a result.

  26. Derrick Henry, vs. CIN
  27. Alfred Morris, @ATL
  28. Aaron Jones, @CHI
  29. Duke Johnson, @DET
  30. Marlon Mack vs. PIT

START

When Bilal Powell has gotten volume this season he has been worthy of starting. With Matt Forte out, Powell should see a nice boost in volume. Running back is looking quite thin this week, so the Forte injury creates at least one more name to trust this weekend.

SIT

The Lions backfield has been a headache this season so don’t expect that to change this week. More importantly, don’t let the matchup fool you as the Browns defense has actually been quite good against the run. While a matchup against the Browns is usually a flashing neon light for fantasy owners, don’t fall for the trap with Ameer Abdullah and company this week.

WIDE RECEIVER

  1. Antonio Brown, @IND
  2. J. Green, @TEN
  3. Marvin Jones, vs. CLE
  4. Julio Jones, vs. DAL
  5. DeAndre Hopkins, @LAR
  6. Michael Thomas, @BUF
  7. Golden Tate, vs. CLE
  8. Dez Bryant, @ATL
  9. Robby Anderson, @TB
  10. Devin Funchess, vs. MIA
  11. Sterling Shepard, @SF
  12. Brandin Cooks, @DEN
  13. Y. Hilton, vs. PIT
  14. Demaryius Thomas, v.s NE
  15. Jarvis Landry, @CAR
  16. Adam Thielen, @WAS
  17. DeSean Jackson, vs. NYJ
  18. Robert Woods, vs. HOU
  19. Marqise Lee, vs. LAC
  20. Stefon Diggs, @WAS
  21. Rishard Matthews, vs. CIN
  22. DeVante Parker, @CAR
  23. Ted Ginn, @BUF
  24. Cooper Kupp, vs. HOU
  25. Keenan Allen, @JAC
  26. Emmanuel Sanders, vs. NE
  27. Mohammed Sanu, vs. DAL
  28. Kelvin Benjamin, vs. NO
  29. JuJu Smith-Schuster, @IND
  30. Sammy Watkins, vs. HOU
  31. Adam Humphries, vs. NYJ
  32. Marquise Goodwin, vs. NYG
  33. Jermain Kearse, @TB
  34. Josh Doctson, vs. MIN
  35. Corey Davis, vs. CIN
  36. Davante Adams, @CHI

START

Robby Anderson has a tremendous matchup against the Bucs this week as they are among the worst NFL defenses in passing yards allowed per game as well as passing touchdowns allowed. That sets up nicely for Anderson, who has found the endzone in three consecutive games.

SIT

No Packers receiver has surpassed 60 receiving yards in a game since Aaron Rodgers has been sidelined. Chicago has been relatively stout on the defensive side of the ball – they are currently ranked 10th in pass DVOA, so steer clear of all Packers receivers.

TIGHT END

  1. Rob Gronkowski, @DEN
  2. Evan Engram, @SF
  3. Austin Seferia-Jenkins, @TB
  4. Cameron Brate, vs. NYJ
  5. Jack Doyle, vs. PIT
  6. Delanie Walker, vs. CIN
  7. Jason Witten, @ATL
  8. Kyle Rudolph, @WAS
  9. Charles Clay, vs. NO
  10. Hunter Henry, @JAC
  11. Austin Hooper, vs. DAL
  12. Ed Dickson, vs. MIA
  13. Vernon Davis/Jordan Reed, vs. MIN
  14. Garrett Celek, vs. NYG
  15. Eric Ebron, vs. CLE
  16. Tyler Kroft, @TEN
  17. J. Howard, vs. NYJ
  18. Colby Fleener, @BUF
  19. David Njoku, @DET
  20. Julius Thomas, @CAR

START

Trusting a player immediately after they return from injury is always a risky proposition, and Charles Clay’s injury history doesn’t ease any concern. However, the Bills target their tight ends heavily, so Clay should remain a major part of the offense even after missing three weeks due to injury.

Ed Dickson is another name to consider, as the Panthers are lacking options in the passing game and the Dolphins are among the worst in the NFL in defending opposing tight ends.
